Book Fair 2019 Thank you's

This year’s Book Fair was amazing! We earned thousands of dollars in books for our school! These funds, combined with gifts from Twain families, will result in hundreds of new books coming into Mark Twain. Thanks to everyone who donated to All For Books!! We set a record again this year with over $1000 in giving and your generous contributions were used to purchase books for families in need in our Twain community!

So many books were donated and purchased because of the generosity of our Twain community this year! Every 4th and 5th grade classroom received a copy of each title on the Battle of the Books list with proceeds from the fair! Each teacher was gifted a bag of new books for their classroom libraries for your kids to read and enjoy. The library will now be adding new books!

Thank you to all our customers for coming to the fair, promoting reading at home, and helping provide books for our school. Your generosity helps us bring the joy of reading and access to great books to all our Twain kiddos. Thank you!!

Finally, I’d like to thank our many tireless volunteers who helped set up, assist customers, cashier, straighten inventory, and pack up. A special thank you to Cathy Webb (amazing librarian), Lana Smith, Becky Evans-Dennison, Wen Hu, Cathy Swartz (retired book fair chair extraordinaire) and Bonnie Leung (advertising & social media guru) for going above and beyond to help make this fair so very successful. Your generosity of time and effort has brought more knowledge, more adventure, more humor, more mystery, and more imagination into the lives of young people!
