School Play - Parent/Guardian Information Meeting

We are so excited to get started on this year's school play, The Wizard of Oz!

Attention 4th + 5th Grade Families!

A Parent/Guardian Information Meeting will be held - attendance is mandatory for any family who wants to take part in the school play:

📅 Wednesday, October 7th
⏰ 7:00–8:00 PM 📍Twain Library

The Musical will be performed on November 20th and 21st at Lake Washington High School.

FREE Math Enrichment Program for all K-5 students

We’re excited to bring back the Math Challenge Program (MCP) - a free math enrichment opportunity designed for elementary students who love solving puzzles, thinking critically, and exploring math beyond the classroom.

And this year, participation is easier than ever, with our New Twain Math Challenge app!! Set up your profile today!

Reflection Volunteer Lead Needed By October 15!

What could your child create if they had a reason to begin? The Reflections Program gives students a chance to imagine, create, and share through music, visual arts, literature, dance, video, or photography. All inspired by this year’s theme, “What My Culture Means to Me.” Could you help give them that chance? We need a volunteer lead by October 15th for our school to participate in Reflections this year.

4th & 5th Grade Elementary Band

Want to learn an instrument? Mark Twain PTSA is excited to provide a 4th and 5th grade band program in partnership with Lakeview Elementary PTSA.

No previous music experience necessary!

The program will be held before or after school at Lakeview Elementary from October 5, 2026 through June 9, 2027.

Staff Appreciation Bagel & Snack Bar

Twain PTSA’s Staff Appreciation Committee kicked off the school year by welcoming our amazing teachers and staff with a bagel bar on the first day of school, followed by a snack bar for the rest of the week! It was such a fun way to help everyone feel appreciated and give our Twain staff a warm welcome back.
