The WSPTA Essay Contest is an annual program for students grade Kindergarten thru 12th grade. This statewide essay contest explores the important and varied influencers in the lives and education of children – from the children’s perspective. Click here for full details on this program. Each year, the National PTA Outstanding Advocacy Awards honor state, local and individual PTA advocates for taking action to make a difference for the education, health, safety and well-being of every child. Attention all parent paparazzi! The PTSA Yearbook Committee is looking for some great shots of your kiddos to include in the yearbook!

First Day of School, Block Party, International Night, Field Trips!

In the yearbook, we have full-color pages dedicated to each classroom, each grade level, and as many of the PTSA and school events as we can fit! Please help us fill these pages with fantastic shots of every single Twain student. Email them to yearbook@twainptsa.org. Unsurprising, but our big events take a village of volunteers before, during, and after the event! The following volunteers stepped up before the event to support our team leads and captains. They sold tickets, prepped orders, and donated to our concessions. Join the EZ Grant Committee

The EZ Grant Committee is seeking a few more members. We meet only 3 times per year to review grant applications and decide how our PTSA funds can best be spent on these projects, programs, or items.

The time commitment is 1-2 hours x 3 times spaced throughout the year. We perform the following tasks: --Read the grant applications --Attend the online meeting to discuss the grant applications and make a decision on which applications to grant, and which to defer or reject.
