Once again, Twain PTSA is teaming up with High Trek Adventures and Game On NW for a fantastic combo of reading and fitness!

All you need to do is dive into the world of books for 8 hours throughout March, and guess what? You'll unlock a special voucher for some cool adventures! Stay tuned for more details. 

A Big Book Fair Thank You!

We just wrapped up another amazing Book Fair thanks to our indefatigable librarian, Ms. Cathy! Thanks to her and our amazing Twain community, this Book Fair was the second highest grossing in the last 11 years (only second to when our school had ~100 more students).

A big thank you to McGinnes Ladd and Audrey Adler for all your support and the amazing decorations that transported us right into a “Wings of Fire” book!

Was there a book you wanted that was sold out at the book fair? Were you not able to make it to the book fair in person? You can shop Scholastic online and purchases through February 8th will still support our school! Please read further for full list of our amazing volunteers who made this event such a success... 

Pacific Science Center In-School Field Trip Thursday & Friday!

The Pacific Science Center is coming to Twain this Thursday and Friday!  This year, we'll be learning all about Physics.

If you have some availability, we’re still in need of a few volunteers to make this event successful! Assist Pacific Science Center Staff in loading in/out their materials or facilitate the pop-up exhibit. Click here to see the open opportunities.

Thank you to NW Arts Program Lead Nicki Schulman. You have been significant in keeping this program at Twain for our students; it is appreciated! And an extra thank you to Malaika Silliker for all your time and effort to help make this program a success. Nicki Schulman and Malaika Silliker led NW lessons for Twain students this year.

K-5 classes attended two lessons each during the week of 01/12 - 01/16. Mr. Taylor, thanks for sharing your space to allow us to keep this program at Twain. Thank you also to volunteers who assisted with class management: Robyn Howard, Zhengqing Fei, Janani Kartik, Eliza Grant and Olena Lebeda...
