You are invited to our biggest event of the year, the Twain PTSA Block Party.

Join us for fun for the whole family on Thursday, June 6th from 5:30 to 8pm.

Kids and kids at heart will have a blast celebrating the end of another amazing year at Twain.

 

There will be music and dancing, bounce houses, field games, raffles, and more! Please see the rundown below for pricing on activity bracelets and tokens and pre-order to avoid the sales line.

 

We have a great variety of food trucks graciously donating a percentage of their proceeds to Twain PTSA. So skip cooking dinner that night and come try one of the delicious food trucks.

 

Please note this is a family fun event, no drop offs allowed.

Do you have an older child? Middle school and high school volunteers are welcome and we can provide letters to certify volunteer hours.

 

Can't volunteer your time? Please consider lending or donating an item to the event.

Kid's Activity Bracelet - $10

(includes unlimited use of inflatables and field games)

Tokens - $1 each or 12 for $10

(for use at concessions and for face painting and balloon animals. *Cash will not be accepted)

Raffle Tickets - $5 each (see prizes below)

Food Trucks - accepting cash and credit card

Frequently Asked Questions

 

Will Kona Ice give out color-changing reusable cups again this year? YES! And if you still have have your cups from last year, bring them back and get a discount on your Kona Ice.

 

Should I bring my water bottle to refill? YES! And as a thank you for not relying on single-use plastic, claim your Bobcat DJ sticker from the PTSA Table.

 

Where are the seating and dining areas? The cafeteria will be available for dining. If you'd like to enjoy the fun atmosphere outside while taking a break or eating, we encourage you to bring your own camp chairs to the Party! For example, you are welcome to set up your chairs in the area outside the kindergarten classrooms. 

 

We can't go to the event anymore and I already purchased a bracelet! Can I get a refund?  All sales are final. If you can no longer use your tokens/ activity bracelets/ raffle tickets, you are welcome to gift them to another person who is able to attend.

 

Where should I park? Carpooling or walking is highly encouraged. Please be considerate of our neighbors when parking on area streets. Do not block driveways or double park.

 

My family loves this event! Does PTSA plan it every year? Now in its third iteration, the Block Party has become a new favorite! BUT TAKE NOTE! Our next Block Party is right around the corner! Twain PTSA has decided that for the 2024-2025 school year, we're moving the Block Party up in the school calendar, to SEPTEMBER 20TH, so we don't have to wait until the end of the school year to get the party started! RAFFLE

The raffle will take place on June 6, 2024 at 7:00 pm and you must be present to win. All of the below prizes, and MORE, will be included in the raffle.

It’s Party Time with Backyard PE! Host your next kid’s party in your own backyard, but leave the fun and games up to Backyard PE. Included in this prize is a one hour, guided party, for up to 10 kids in your own home or a local park. You can also check out Backyard PE at our Block Party where they will host some of their fantastic games for our students. Party package is a $175 value.

 

Do you want some musical inspiration? Get an introduction (or further enrichment) to the instrument of your choice with two free lessons at KAMP Music in Kirkland. This prize comes with a Kamp logo mug and tote bag. You'll remember to practice every time you use them!

 

Jump into the amazing sport of hockey next fall with McVander Hockey. Win a free After School Program registration to join their session at Twain next fall. They will also donate a generous gift basket, contents TBD.
