BLOCK PARTY was a BLAST!

6/20/2023 5:00 am

What a way to end our year of PTSA programming!

We had a blast at the Block Party and we hope you all did as well. It was truly a labor of love with so many elements-- carnival games, inflatables, quiet crafts, food trucks, sweet treats, photo booths, balloon animals, face painting and the Gallery Walk recognizing our awesome Explore Art program. And then a great send off for PE teacher Mrs. Nelson!

We'd love to get your feedback on the event --please click here to complete a quick event survey for us!

A huge thank you and congratulations to Team Leader Nicki Schulman for spearheading this enormous event and doing everything from handpicking food allergy-friendly vendors to creating a variety of spaces and activities for all children to designing beautiful graphics to even crafting larger than life paint palettes and paint brushes for decor.

And yes, this required A LOT of volunteers-- nearly 100, in fact! Our dedicated volunteers (parents, students, alumni, and staff!) came in with a can-do attitude and really helped us pull off a fantastic, memory-making event for our students. From power washing, to displaying artwork, to working the sales lines, our volunteers were AMAZING and we are so so thankful.  Thank you as well to Chai Saephan, Evie Lasseter, Kirsten Baker, and Mr. Mott and Ms. Goodfellow for their support and hands-on assistance.

A huge round of applause for...
