Staff appreciation re-cap

Every month, the Staff Appreciation committee treats our Twain teachers and staff. The events range from fridge and pantry re-stocks in the staff lounge to our famous cookie exchange. The festivities culminate in a week long appreciation bonanza in May. Check in here for recaps of the events.

May Staff Appreciation Week Celebrations

Our Staff Appreciation Committee hit it out of the solar system with their astronomical efforts to show Twain staff just how appreciated they are!

The fun, thoughtful week was planned and facilitated by our amazing committee leads - Katti Swanson and Julie Arguez, and were a success because of contributions from so many:

March Pi Day

The Staff Appreciation Committee helped the Twain staff celebrate Pi Day with a selection of sweet and savory pies!

Family Favorites February Lunch

January Snack Bar to Fuel Conference Week Meetings

Thank you all for your support for the grab-and-go Snack Bar that took place on the week of January 23rd!

 

We had a great variety of choices for teachers to enjoy both healthy foods and treats, allowing them to refuel during their Conference Week meetings.

December Hot Cocoa, Coffee, and Cookie Gifting 

Thank you all for your support for the hot cocoa, coffee, and cookie gifting exchange that took place on Wednesday, December 6th! We had a great variety of options for teachers to fill their decorated box with a dozen flavors each. The event was very well attended, with lots of excited staff enjoying the delicious dessert break.

November Soup & Salad

Thank you all for your support for the soup and salad bar lunch that took place on Tuesday, November 7th! We had a great variety of soups and salad bar options. It was very well attended, lots of words of gratitude as staff came through.

Our amazing PTSA Staff Appreciation Committee kicked off the first week of school with snacks for the whole staff!

Let's celebrate our wonderful PTSA volunteers and staff with some well-deserved recognition. Our Awards & Recognition Committee is looking for your input to determine this year's award recipients.

Do YOU know a volunteer or staff member that goes above and beyond to serve the Twain community? It is wonderful to receive recognition for one’s hard work! 

Annually, Twain PTSA presents awards including the Bobcat Award for Outstanding PTSA Volunteer, Golden Acorn, Outstanding Educator, and more. A complete description of each award is provided on the form. We would love to hear from you!

To submit your recommendation(s), complete this form by Sunday May 19. Award winners will be announced at our June General Membership Meeting.

Bobcats, save the date for our 3rd Annual Block Party!

This favorite Twain event will be on Thursday, June 6th from 5:30-8pm in the Twain parking lot. We are excited to bring back this event for the whole family. There will be food trucks, inflatables, games, prizes, and more!
