Our mission is to be a strong voice for children and a resource for our families, school, and community. We will do this by supporting programs and activities that advocate for children's well-being and enhance our school community.

On Thursday, February 1st, we had our second PTSA meeting of the year. We had a great, wide-ranging discussion on a variety of topics including field trips, school security, upcoming events, and SEL strategies like restorative conversations to model at home. For February, the Staff Appreciation Committee will throw a "family favorites" themed lunch for the staff on 2/13. We're looking for folks who can contribute food or volunteer.
Please send in something that your family loves to eat! It could be food from your family heritage, a favorite recipe, or even just comfort foods your family likes. We're hoping for lots of variety! Please click here for the sign up link if you're interested in contributing. Much appreciation!

On Feb 2nd and 3rd, fourth and fifth grade Twain students wowed audiences with two fantastic performances of the Amazing Adventures of Super Stan! These kids have been working hard over the last 6 weeks, under the stellar guidance of Studio East directors Joey Sponseller and Rebecca Herivel, and it showed! Congratulations to them all!
A standing ovation is in order for our phenomenal co-producers, Tonya Alblas and Lindsey Nipp! Between coordinating dozens of moving parts, making countless decisions...

The PTSA is collecting items for Thank You Gift Baskets for our AMAZING Custodial workers, Chai and Susana.
They worked hard and put in looooong hours to get things controlled, cleaned up, and re-opened during the recent flooding at our school. Some days they were on campus around the clock!
