Explore Art Docents Needed!

Lead or Co-Leads plus 2-3 assistant docents needed per classroom for monthly 1.5-2.5 hour lessons.

NO ART EXPERIENCE NEEDED. Training will be held 10/5/23, 630-830pm in the Twain Library. Many hands make light work, especially when it comes to art! Join us monthly or as often as you can.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU to our PTSA volunteers who helped welcome Twain's newest additions, our kindergarten families: Alice Wong and McGinnes Ladd, who spear-headed these events, and their helpful greeters/coffee pourers, Kiran Agarwal, Vanessa Christensen, Mitra Soltanie, Melanie Walling, and Kate Winzig.

Thank you also to the many families who stopped by to grab some caffeine and make connections. It was so great to see all the new smiling, nervous faces out there! Cheers to a new school year! We hope to see you at many more PTSA events!

Thank you for supporting Mark Twain's annual Scholastic Book Fair last week. With your help, we had over $11,000 in sales and raised nearly $6,000 for our school! Special thanks to Twain Librarian Cathy Webb and our PTSA lead Lana Smith for spearheading the efforts, as well as volunteers Wendy Crist, Alejandra De Obeso, Heather Scott, Fang Yu, Natalie Drennon, Malaika Silliker, Maria Gallegos, and Kate Ho for helping run the fair!

Our amazing PTSA Staff Appreciation Committee, led by Katti Swanson and Julie Arguez, kicked off the first week of school with snacks for the whole staff!

All week, they kept a teacher's lounge table stocked with delicious grab & go snacks.
