Our mission is to be a strong voice for children and a resource for our families, school, and community. We will do this by supporting programs and activities that advocate for children's well-being and enhance our school community.

The PTSA Staff Appreciation Committee is planning a baked potato bar lunch for the school staff on Friday, February 24.

Thanks to these volunteers who came out to help with Ms. Dewalt's Popcorn Gotcha Ticket Reward: Josee Amyot, Diana Carrillo, Robin Howard, McGinnes Ladd, and Malaika Silliker. It was a huge hit!

We had a great turnout for the school dance on Friday night!
Over 400 young bobcats enjoyed the music, showed off their dance moves, and played with friends.

THANK YOU to Dance Team Leader Heather Scott for bringing this event back to in-person for the first time since 2020. It's a big feat with lots of logistics and we appreciate her amazing effort! Our students had an incredible time!

A big thank you to our PE teachers Mrs. Nelson and Mr. Womble for dance with EVERY CLASS ALL WEEK LONG as they learned their glow party dance routines.

These classes are leading their grade levels in participation:
- Kindergarten - Marcus
- 1st Grade - Williams
- 2nd Grade - Ferrin
- 3rd Grade - Wisdom
- 4th Grade - Freni
- 5th Grade - Peterson
Participation = reading the Show the Love newsletter/ webpage + entering your student's grade level and teacher

UPDATE- January 19, 2023
The LW Area Boundary Committee has presented a new set of scenarios for changes to school attendance boundaries. Please review as this DOES affect you and your student.
Please submit your feedback by Sunday, January 29.
Each scenario affects Twain's school attendance boundaries differently, and include changes to Twain's history of being able to choose middle schools.
Changes would begin NEXT school year.

Congratulations to our very own Bobcat, Dhoon Patel!
Dhoon's Reflections art submission has been selected by the Lake Washington PTSA Council to advance to judging by the Washington State PTA.
Join us for an open house & gallery walk Jan 20th from 5-8pm, showcasing all the original works of art that were submitted from students in the Lake Washington area.
Art will be displayed for public viewing at the LWSD RESOURCE CENTER through Thursday, 1/26.
