As Thanksgiving has come to a close, we would be remiss to not thank our amazing volunteers who donate their spare time and money, their energy and creativity, to support and execute our PTSA programs.

Our volunteers come up with fantastic events- adding gardening and dance lessons to our school days and sewing and school plays to our weeknights. They comb kids' hair for picture day and run art lessons every month. They offer up homemade goodies and store bought snacks for our staff. Our volunteers work behind the scenes designing graphics, setting up our online stores, doing data entry, and creating our yearbook. They stay late to clean up after events.

Twain PTSA volunteers model to our children what it means to contribute to a community. Twain PTSA volunteers do it all. We are so appreciative and proud of you all.

Attention Parents! 2025 Winter ASP/BSPs Are Coming

Registration for Winter Before and After School Programs will open in a few weeks, with early registration for Twain PTSA members.

Course offerings, exact registration dates, and other information will be available online on December 6. Please stay tuned for more updates here: Mark Twain PTSA ASP page.

We are also seeking parent leaders to support more diverse programs in the Spring. If you have any programs that you are interested in having your kids join, please reach out to us and we'll discuss how we can make it happen!

Staff Appreciation Cookie Gifting Event

Our annual Cookie Gifting Event is one of our signature Twain PTSA events and likely the most highly anticipated staff appreciation events of the year.

On December 11, we will treat each staff member to a variety box of one dozen cookies of their choosing to take home.

We need lots of cookies and volunteers! There are about 85 Twain staff, so we're hoping we can get at least 85 dozen cookies.

Volunteers are needed to help set up, prepare cookie boxes and clean up. Click here to see the sign up. It should be a really fun day! Feel free to send this sign up along to other community members you know who like to bake.

Donate to the No Hassle Fundraiser

Every year, Twain PTSA plans, executes, and funds a wide variety of programs that enhance our school community. The amount we need to fully fund this school year’s programs is $20,000.

If you haven't had a chance this year, please show your support and give. Our annual No Hassle Fundraiser, which simply asks for direct donations from families, is our most important fundraising effort and the most efficient way you can make an impact.

Twain PTSA Reflections Winners

Congrats to all our Bobcat Reflections Artists! Thank you for your art work entries!

Nine Twain students' entries are moving on to judging at the Lake Washington PTSA (LWPTSA) Council level.

If you would like to see the Reflections submissions of all our Twain artists, all entries will be displayed in the Twain library from November 18 - December 20. You are also welcome to attend the LWPTSA Reflections Open House and view the top submissions from all the local schools on Jan 24th, 6:30 pm - 8 pm. Do you have an idea for a project that could improve pedestrian, bicycle and/or auto safety in our neighborhood? Or maybe you've been thinking about a concept for an improvement that would make it safer for children to walk, bike, or ride the bus to school?
