Register for the Math Challenge Tournament

Math Challenge Tournament is an annual national math competition that is open for students in 2nd - 5th grade. This is a one hour long, in-person only competition, hosted by schools/education centers. This year, we will host at Mark Twain on March 30, 2025. For more information, please visit the Math Challenge website or contact Kristy at jianjun02@yahoo.com.
Interested? Register by March 4. There is a $25 fee per student.

Thank you to so many people for making this year's Scholastic Book Fair such a success! Special thanks to Ms. Cathy for her extra effort and diligence as first-time Book Fair Team Lead! Well done! Thanks too to PTSA VPs McGinnes Ladd and Kim Christensen for supporting Ms. Cathy’s first time in this PTSA leadership role.

Hello Bobcats! We have a big goal ahead of us and we need your support! You have likely seen our posts about the Sand Digging Station... well, fundraising has begun!
We need to raise $40,000 to install a Sand Digging Station on the Mark Twain Elementary sand field. The Twain Science Fair is happening on March 13, 2025! Our Science Fair is an opportunity for all Twain students to be curious, ask questions, and test their predictions! This PTSA-sponsored event is not a competition, but a chance for Bobcats to learn and have fun by following the scientific method through experimentation.

A big bobcat thank you to NW Arts Program Lead Nicki Schulman! Thank you for all you do for the Twain Community. And a special thank you to Malaika Siliker for all of her support to help make this program a success.
Nicki Schulman and Malaika Silliker led all the NW Arts lessons for our students this year. This unique program enabled our students to experience an art museum at Twain! This year, over the course of two lessons, they viewed and discussed an exhibit featuring Nature in Art.
