Toymaker Workshops for 3rd & 4th Grade

On Monday, June 10th our 3rd and 4th graders enjoyed an in-school "field trip" with School of Toy.

3rd graders built with magnets to learn about balanced and unbalanced forces, predicting paths of motion and magnetic energy. 4th graders built a motorized top learning about energy transfer, circuits, kinetic motion, conductors and more.

Block Party Was a Blast!

WOW! What a great turn out for our 3rd annual ☀️Block Party☀️!

It was great to see so many Twain families out enjoying a good time together. Putting together such a large event is a big job, so sending out a HUGE thank you to team lead, Bridget Songstad, and head organizer, Nicki Schulman. You ROCK! And to the rest of our Block Party Committee that stepped up to ensure the Block Party happened: Patricia Heber, Molly Honig, Reshma Kapadia, Janani Kartik, Brittany Kukal, McGinnes Ladd, Sarah Menenberg, Audrey Adler, April Roberts, Michelle Soltani, and Naling Zhang. Explore Art Gallery Walk on June 13

View a showcase of student art that has been created throughout the school year in the Explore Art program. Art of all grade levels will be featured. Parent volunteers are the heart of the Explore Art program that brings art principles and art history into every classroom once a month.

2023-2024 Yearbooks

Yearbooks are arriving soon!

Pre-ordered/pre-paid books will be delivered in your student's class on Wednesday, 6/12.

If you did not pre-order, we have a limited number of extra yearbooks that will be sold by the PTSA, beginning on Thursday, 6/13 at a table just outside the front office. Sales will be before and after school for $20 per yearbook, cash only, and while supplies last. We will also be selling at the Explore Art Gallery Walk on the evening of 6/13.

Thursday, June 13 is the last PTSA Meeting of the year!

Starting at 5:30pm in the Twain Library, Principal Goodfellow will be giving an update on the school, answering questions and available to discuss future field trips and the possibility of a 5th grade overnight camp.

At 6 pm, we’ll hold our in person PTSA meeting where children are welcome to attend, followed by our Gallery Walk starting at 6:30 pm where families are invited to see the amazing art their children have created via the PTSA Explore Art program.
