We have an AMAZING community here at Mark Twain. Block Party was so FUN and AWESOME because YOU gave your time, generosity and leadership! 

A special shout out to Kim Christensen for all her hard work in putting the event together and to Rudy Christensen, her right hand man.

4th + 5th Grade Band Program at Lakeview Elementary

Want to learn an instrument? Mark Twain PTSA is excited to provide a 4th and 5th grade band program in partnership with Lakeview Elementary PTSA.

No previous music experience necessary! Beginning band will be twice a week before school. Intermediate band will be twice a week after school. This program runs October to June. There will be an informational open house on Sep 23rd at the Lakeview Elementary Library from 6:30-8pm.

Before School Orchestra Program at Twain

Join before school orchestra for 2nd-5th graders at Twain! Beginners are welcome! Discover the joy of music while playing violin, viola or cello with friends. 

Classes meet once a week October to March and will meet either on Wednesday or Thursday mornings from 8:10am-9:10am. Click here to register today! 

Before School Ball Hockey at Twain

Come play Ball Hockey before school on Fridays for an hour of fun every week this fall (program starts on October 10th).

After School Chess Program at Twain

Twain PTSA is excited to offer Excel with Chess as an after school program starting October 1st through December 10th (no class11/24.) This program is a great way for students to learn chess or continue building their skills, develop critical thinking, and have fun with friends! All grades, K-5 are welcome!

The program will take place on Wednesdays, directly after school 2:25-3:30 p.m in the Twain Cafeteria. Space is limited so register early to secure a spot (registration ends 9/30). For more information or questions, contact audrey@twainptsa.org.

**Attention 4th and 5th grade parents**: this after school program conflicts with school play rehearsals. School play rehearsals are mandatory for participants, so please consider this before registering your student for chess.
