Science Fair Success

It was such a delight to bring the Science Fair back after a 2-year Covid hiatus!

We had more projects than ever from our enthusiastic Twain scientists.

This event could not have happened without the help and support of a great community. Many thanks to Jane Erickson, Heather Scott, and Nadine Witt for helping to support our science fair workshops, which were new this year! The students were also fortunate to get guidance from scientists in our community – Ben Pelle and Carolyn Hutcheon!

Twain families really showed their support the night of the event: thanks to Jayamadhuri Koripalli, Tina Mehrotra, Eesha Mehrotra, Keira Fernando, Cameron Kilburn, Sumedha Bhataia, Angela Vaitkus, Karen Bagnell, Warren Scott, Parvoneh Neilsen, Elaine Kiely, Divya Kulkmani, Michelle Janson, Sanjeev Mehrotra, Sina Tonek, Adrien Honig, and Manasa Bethapudi, and Seena Sarkeshik for helping set up, check in students, and run our hands-on activities.

We also had a great crew of visiting scientists, many of whom are Twain alumni – Melinda Urban, Sonja Wetmore, Rachel Kelley, Odmaral Tumenjargal, Piper Begley, Brinda Arun, Melodie Duran, and Sammy Scott.

Special thanks to our VP and event lead, Jodie Spitze for all her hard work in making the Science Fair such a success. Last but not least, thank you to the families of our Twain students for supporting their curiosity in science!
