Toymaker Workshops for 3rd & 4th Grade

On Monday, June 10th our 3rd and 4th graders enjoyed an in-school "field trip" with School of Toy.

3rd graders built with magnets to learn about balanced and unbalanced forces, predicting paths of motion and magnetic energy. 4th graders built a motorized top learning about energy transfer, circuits, kinetic motion, conductors and more.

Twain PTSA happily funded this unique and enriching STEM event when bussing and logistics prevented these grade levels from a traditional field trip this year.

A huge thank you to the parent volunteers that researched, coordinated, and volunteered at this event. The students had a fantastic time!
