Volunteer in the Classroom with Explore Art

The Explore Art program brings art education to every classroom at Twain.

The curriculum introduces the 7 elements of art through a variety of lessons and provides a foundation for future art exploration. We are also fortunate enough to have our own kiln that allows us to incorporate a ceramics curriculum that builds technique through the years and creates some of our students' favorite keepsakes.

Students will have the opportunity to explore famous NW artists as well as create their own work to be displayed at the end of year Gallery Walk.

This program is entirely volunteer-led, so we need your help! All lesson presentations and supplies are supplied by the PTSA. All you need is a willingness to help guide and assist children through the monthly lessons. No art experience needed.
