Plants and Pollinators --Farming Friday is happening soon!

Farming Friday is coming to Mark Twain on April 25.

Celebrate Earth Month with us! Help our kids learn about plants, pollinators, and bring home two edible plants to grow themselves.

We are looking for volunteers to help our students plant a seed and learn about pollinators.

Kindergarteners will be planting at 10:30 am and all other grades will have the option to join during lunch recess on April 25th. We will have tables setup with plant and pollinator information, an observational bee hive (!), as well as planting areas for the kids to plant two seeds of their choice of edible plants.

Volunteers will be either assisting with setting up/cleaning up and assisting kids in their planting process! A dedicated beekeeper will run the observational beehive/ pollinator table.
